Are acrylic nails bad for you?
Acrylic nails when done properly aren’t bad for your nails. Your nails will be naturally softer when acrylics are removed due to them being covered for long periods of time. The most important part about wearing acrylics is that you maintain them by getting refills so that during the process a trained tech can evaluate your nails’ conditions.
Why are my acrylic nails lifting?
Acrylics lifting can be a result of many things, such as prolonged exposure to water or trauma. But most of the time it is from the oils and moisture of your natural nails that will break the adhesion. If your acrylic nails tend to lift often, please inform your tech. There are several different methods that we can try to see if it’ll help your case.
Does your salon use electric drills?
At Luxury Nails we do use electric drills. We’ve been trained extensively on its use for efficiency and our best works are the results of that. You as a client however do have the right to request that an electric drill not be used on your nails.
Can you do coffin nails?
We are skilled in all nail shapes, including specialty ones such as coffin, ballerina, stiletto, almond and so on. There is an additional charge for such services as those shapes require more time and technique to accomplish.
Why did my service cost more than listed?
We understand that this happens a lot in nail salons. Here at Luxury Nails, we try to be as transparent as possible. Specialty shapes, nail repairs, nail art, cut downs and special requests may come with an additional cost but we try our best to inform you ahead of time.
